Founded on October 21st 2015, MIBA is a newly-formed chamber of industrialist and entrepreneurs in the Republic of Macedonia, consisting of 73 companies thus far. The chamber is in partnership with the Turkish Confederation of Businessmen and Industrialists (TUSKON). Semih Sahin is elected as president of the chamber which includes members from Ohrid, Skopje, Gostivar, Tetovo, Struga etc. MIBA aims to serve as a representative of the business community as well as develop the business sector in Macedonia. In accordance with the statute, the organization will focus on enabling free entrepreneurship thus contributing to the economic growth, job creation and competitiveness of the market economy. Moreover, MIBA has a focus on education, by foreseeing to conduct various projects and research for the business sector, as well as through organizing forums, conferences and symposiums so that the businesses and the educational sector share their know-how.
